MWM nanotechnology modules include online interactive learning tools - developed with computer scientists at Northwestern and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign – to let students visualize and explore the nanoscale without expensive classroom equipment. Interactive games give them an intuitive grasp of the nanoscale and its properties. Interactive simulations allow them to model nanoscale objects and perform nanoscale design processes. Multimedia animations convey complex 3-D spatial and time-dependent phenomena better than static textbooks.
