Information Trip to Anne Arundel County Public Schools, Annapolis, MD (June, 2011)

AA_countySchools On June 11, 2011, NCLT director Professor R.P.H. Chang met the staff of Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) at the Advanced Studies and Programs Office in Annapolis, Maryland. The Office of Advanced Studies and Programs is dedicated to providing challenging opportunities for advanced learners K-12 in the State of Maryland.

Professor Chang presented the philosophy of the Materials World Modules program and introduced the importance of nanotechnology as a unique strand in propelling STEM education. The visit and discussions with the district leaders resulted in a close working relationship between AACPS and the NCLT to further STEM teaching and learning there.
